Make something slow and real, in a world of fast and artificial.
Where it began
A kitchen, a few fruit, and time.
William grew up watching his grandmother make wine at home, not as a habit but as care. Gooseberries and seasonal fruit, fermented slowly with full attention. Wine made right, she believed, is nourishing.
During Covid, William returned to the kitchen and made wine the way he had seen it done. No additives, no shortcuts. A Christmas 2020 gifting moment turned the home experiment into a brand.
The name carries both halves of the story: Williams, the family, and Woak, the oak barrel where wine finds depth, in an old spelling that says this is an old idea, done with full intention.
What we hold to
Calm
We do not shout. We are confident in what it is and let the bottle speak.

Everything comes from somewhere real, and we never drift from the root.

Real fruit, nothing artificial, nothing hidden. We say so plainly.
